What a reinforcement does

The reinforcement is the steel bar behind the bumper, and it is often called a bumper bar in NZ. After a front or rear knock it can be bent or weakened even when the bumper looks fine, so check it when you replace a bumper. The bumper itself is on our bumpers page.

Hiace H200 front

For the H200 there is a front bumper upper reinforcement for the narrow body, 2005 to 2013, and front bar reinforcement extension brackets for narrow and wide body, 2005 to 2020. The brackets are sold as a pair.

Hiace H200 rear

The rear bumper support reinforcement bar is available for the narrow body, 2005 to 2020, and for the wide body, 2005 to 2018. Choose by body width as well as year.

Top cowl panel

The top cowl metal panel for the wide body H200, 2005 to 2018, sits directly beneath the windscreen. It is a structural panel for collision repair and rust replacement, not a bumper part, but it often belongs to the same front-end repair.

Hiace H300 front

For the H300, 2019 on, there is a front bumper steel reinforcement bar.

Warranty and delivery

These are new aftermarket parts with our 3-month warranty; the warranty policy has the details. Large steel parts are easier to collect from Glendene, open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm, but we deliver anywhere in New Zealand.
