Shipping to Australia
We send car parts from our Auckland warehouse to addresses across Australia using standard international courier services. Australian orders are arranged by quote rather than through the website checkout, so that freight is priced on the actual size and weight of the parts instead of a guess.
How to order from Australia
- Find the parts you need in the catalogue, or tell us the vehicle and the part if you cannot find it.
- Send us the product names or SKUs and your full Australian delivery address, including state and postcode, through the parts inquiry form or by email to support@carpartsmarket.co.nz.
- We confirm availability and send you a delivered quote covering the parts and the international freight.
- Once you accept the quote we arrange payment, dispatch, and send you tracking.
Please do not place an Australian order through the website checkout — it is set up for New Zealand delivery addresses only, and an Australian address will not be accepted.
Delivery timeframes
We aim to dispatch in-stock parts within 1 business day of cleared payment. International transit time after dispatch depends on the carrier, the service level, the destination state, and customs processing, so it is confirmed with your quote rather than promised here. Remote and regional Australian addresses take longer than capital cities.
Duties, GST and customs
Our quote covers the parts and the freight to your address. It does not include Australian import duties, Australian GST, customs brokerage, or any other charge levied by Australian authorities or the carrier on arrival. Those are payable by you, and the carrier will usually contact you directly about them. Please factor them in when comparing our quote with a local supplier.
What we can and cannot send
Large panels, bumpers, bonnets and glass are bulky or fragile freight and are quoted individually — for some destinations the freight can exceed the value of the part, and we would rather tell you that up front than surprise you. Dangerous goods, including some fluids, aerosols, airbags and pyrotechnic components, cannot be sent by standard international services and may not be able to be shipped at all.
Fitment matters more at this distance
Returning a part across the Tasman is expensive, so it is worth being certain before you buy. Every product page lists its recorded vehicle fitment, condition and side. Send us your VIN or chassis number with your inquiry and we will confirm the part against your exact vehicle before quoting.
Returns on Australian orders
Our returns and refunds policy and warranty policy apply. For a change-of-mind return you are responsible for return freight back to our Glendene warehouse, which from Australia is usually substantial. If we sent the wrong part or it arrived damaged, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and we will put it right.
