Fitment Guarantee
The wrong part costs more than its price. It costs the trip, the booking, and the vehicle sitting on a hoist while somebody works out what happened. Our Fitment Guarantee exists so that when we tell you a part fits your vehicle, that is our risk rather than yours.
What the guarantee covers
If a product we confirmed for your vehicle does not fit, we will supply the correct product or refund the price of the part, and we cover reasonable approved return freight. You do not absorb the cost of our mistake.
When it applies
It applies where, before you bought, either:
- the product page expressly displayed Fitment Guaranteed for your exact vehicle; or
- our team confirmed compatibility in writing after receiving the vehicle information we asked for.
A verbal comment or a general assumption that a part “should fit” is not a confirmation. Get it in writing — that is what makes the guarantee yours to rely on.
What we need from you
We can only guarantee a fit we were able to check properly, so we ask for complete and accurate details: make, model, year, build date, VIN or chassis number, registration, engine, transmission, body, trim, market, and any modifications. The VIN or chassis number is the one that resolves most of the ambiguity — the same model year often runs more than one variant.
If a confirmed part does not fit
Stop. Do not force, alter, paint, cut, drill, wire, program, or continue the installation, and contact us promptly. A part that has been modified or part-installed can no longer be assessed or returned, which takes the guarantee away from you at the moment you need it. Subject to inspection we will then supply the correct part or refund it.
What it does not cover
The guarantee does not apply where the issue was caused by incomplete or incorrect vehicle information, an undisclosed modification, a change to the intended application, or an installation error. These are voluntary conditions and they do not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act relating to description, or to fitness for a purpose you made known to us and relied on our judgment for.
The full terms
This page is a summary. Section 5 of our warranty policy is the binding version, and our returns and refunds policy covers how a claim is handled.
